Duchess of Cambridge self-isolates after Covid-19 contact

The Duchess of Cambridge is self-isolating after being in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

A Kensington Palace spokesperson said:

“Her Royal Highness is not experiencing any symptoms, but is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home”

Kate had been due to attend a service at St Paul’s Cathedral to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the NHS.

Following the event, she was due to host a tea party at Buckingham Palace.
