Britain expels three Chinese “spies” posing as journalists

Britain has expelled three Chinese “spies” posing as journalists.

The trio are said to be intelligence officers working for Beijing’s Ministry of State Security (MSS), reports the Telegraph.

The MSS is China’s civilian intelligence and political security agency.

A senior Whitehall staff confirmed the reporters claimed to work for three different news agencies in London.

They all came to Britain a year ago.

However, their true identities were uncovered by MI5.

They have now been sent home.
