Lewis Hamilton a step closer to F1 glory after winning 91st race

Britain’s Lews Hamilton has equalled Michael Schumacher’s record number of Formula 1 wins.

Hamilton swept to victory in the Eifel GP on the Nürburgring track.

The driver now has now taken 91 F1 chequered flags in his career.

The winning drive in his Mercedes takes him a step closer towards Schumacher’s record of seven world championships.

Max Verstappen came second in the Red Bull and Daniel Ricciardo’s Renault roared home in third.
