No Time To Die Bond film takes £5 million in Britain on its first day

The new James Bond film No Time To Die has grossed more than £5 million on its first day in cinemas in Britain and Ireland.

The film – the last outing for Daniel Craig as 007 – is looking to reach £67 million on its first weekend.

No Time To Die is showing in 772 UK picture houses.

It has sold 1,620,000 advance tickets for the opening four days.

The film should have been released in April 2020 but was held back by a series of mishaps and the Covid-19 pandemic.

It opens in America on October 8th.
