Prince Harry and Meghan drop social media platforms

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have quit social media.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have turned their backs on Twitter and Facebook.

They say they have become “disillusioned” by the level of “hate” found online.

A source close to the couple said they had “no plans” to use social media for their newly founded Archewell Foundation.

The contact added they were “very unlikely” to return to the platforms in a personal capacity.

The decision further cements the Duke and Duchess’ decision to move away from the Royal family and live in Britain.

The step back from social media is said to be part of the new “progressive role” they look for in America.
