Spy in the sky spots hot house cannabis factory

Drug dealers have been warned their cannabis farms face being rumbled from the skies by heat-seeking cameras on board police helicopters.

West Midlands Police has released footage showing a Birmingham drug den “lit up like a beacon” on heat detection cameras.

The factory was closed the next day after officers discovered up to 150 drug plants.

Meanwhile, the force’s website explains how to spot a cannabis factory.
