Disgraced peer Lord Mandelson is due to be fined for peeing in public.
Lord Mandelson was snapped in London relieving himself against a brick wall in Notting Hill, west London.
Now, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has confirmed it will issue a fix penalty notice.
The former ambassador to America faces a fine of £300 or half of that sum if he pays within two weeks.
Lord Mandelson had spent the evening at the home of George Osborne, the former chancellor, in central London.
After being caught short he offered his “profuse apologies”.
He told the Daily Mail:
“I was stood up by two Uber drivers and kept waiting in the street for half an hour and was bursting.
“There is no disguising my embarrassment.”
The Kensington and Chelsea council said the six months’ delay since the incident was because they couldn’t find an address for the former Labour peer
Lord Mandelson was sacked as the UK’s ambassador to America in September 2025 after emails revealed he had not been open about his friendship with Epstein.
He was arrested and is currently on bail as police investigations continue.
Lord Mandelson denies any wrong doing.
