The 3rd Fusion International Youth Culture and Art Exhibition was recently held at Hof d’Intere (a castle) in Lille, Belgium. This year’s theme is “Draw a Letter to Europe”,featuring over 50 paintings from countries and regions including Belgium, Ukraine, mainland China, and Taiwan. The event also featured tea art demonstrations and guzheng performances, attracting a large number of local visitors. While enjoying the exhibition, the audience expressed their delight at international cultural exchange, particularly the artistic dialogue between young people from different countries.
MAHMOUD, the art director of Spazio Nour, the event’s supporters, said he was happy to see children from different countries and nationalities express their aspirations for peace, friendship, and exchange through the unique medium of painting. He added that, especially at this moment, we desperately need the soothing power of art.
“Art can heal”, says Sven from the European Spa Association,”Fusion” is not only an art festival, but also a declaration for children to redefine the future – here, every stroke, every note, every dance step is telling: “Culture is beautiful because of communication, and dreams are great because of sharing.”
The Fusion Art Festival was founded in 2023. The project is committed to promoting international cultural exchanges and cooperation, and enhancing people’s understanding and awareness of each other’s cultures.
