Virgin Media customers were left with no Internet services after nationwide service problems.
Hundreds of users reported outages to Virgin, according to the DownDetector website.
Most of the problems were in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Belfast.
A Virgin Media spokesperson downplayed the issue stating:
“There is no national outage affecting our services.
“A small number of customers may briefly experience disruption to their broadband services this morning as we carry out planned network upgrade works in their local area.”
