Two Palestinian gunmen were killed, weeks after they had shot and killed a British-Israeli mother with her two daughters.
Israel’s Military said troops were sent into an apartment in Nablus city during the early morning hours of Thursday.
The two suspects and the third man, who was helping them, were all killed in a firefight.
The gunmen have been identified as Hassan Katnani, and Maed Mied Mitsri. They are both members of Hamas.
Ibrahim Hura was identified as the third man, a senior member of the group.
Maia and Rina dee, aged 15 and 20, died in the West Bank after their car was forced off the road and shot at on 7 April.
Lucy Dee, their mother, died a few weeks later in the hospital. She had suffered serious injuries.
The attack took place near Hamra – about 30 miles north from Jerusalem – but the family was living in Efrat, a settlement close to Bethlehem.

Why is there tension around the holy site of Jerusalem?
Rabbi Leo Dee is the father of Maia and Rina. He said: “I was delighted that terrorists had been apprehended today and that they were eliminated. But most importantly, I was pleased that this was done without putting the lives of Israeli soldiers at risk, because from the perspective of our family, that was the most important thing.
“I requested that the Shabak (Israeli Security Agency) allow us to live interview members of the terrorist’s family, such as the parents, or siblings.
This is my message.
The question we’d like to ask is: What was the purpose of this attack? What is their vision for an improved world?”
The funerals of the three women who died reduced the Dee Family from seven to four members.
Since then, Rabbi Dee appeared several times in Israeli media to say that he has no hatred for the killers. He also called for national unity.
Israel has been raiding West Bank towns, villages and cities for over a year. It claims to be doing so in an effort to dismantle militants networks and prevent further attacks.
Palestinians, however, see this as Israel strengthening its occupation of the lands it has been occupying for 56 years. They want to establish an independent state in these lands.
Since the raids began, Israel has killed 250 Palestinians. Israel claims that most of them were militants. However, there have also been stone-throwing youths as well as people who weren’t involved in the clashes.
In the same time period, Palestinians have attacked Israelis and killed nearly 50 people.
