Authorities have reported that an Uber Eats driver had his body dismembered following a “demonic murder” while delivering food.
Oscar Solis Jr. is accused of killing a driver while delivering a package to his house in Pasco County, Florida.
Police documents state that the remains of the victim were discovered in Solis’s home in bin bags, a cooler and a receipt bearing his name.
Chris Nocco, Pasco County Sheriff, said: “This crime was committed out of passion. This was demonic. “What he did was demon.”
Solis is charged with murdering a victim while committing a robbery. He also faces charges for failing to register as a felon convicted and for violating parole, according to jail records.
After serving four years for assault and burglary in Indiana, he moved to Florida about three months ago.
Solis was covered in tattoos on his face, and Nocco claimed that he had been affiliated with the MS-13 violent gang.
According to police documents, in Florida, 6ft4 Solis weighed 22 stone and worked as a security guard at a stripclub.
The case included evidence such as blood in different places in the house, and a keyfob that belonged to the victim found on Solis’ dresser on top of his wallet.
The victim, who was not named, was reported missing after his wife did not find him when he returned home from his Eats Uber deliveries.
Uber informed investigators that the driver’s reported last location was Solis’s house.
Police documents state that the victim’s abandoned car was discovered a short distance from his home. Inside, they found a bin bag with blood-soaked towels and rags, as well as a bag similar to one he used for food deliveries and a card bearing Solis’s employment information.
The investigators also obtained CCTV footage from the house, showing the victim delivering food and two men carrying heavy bin bags later outside.
The second man who was a Solis driver has not been indicted.
