A giant dragon that breathes fire erupted in flames at a live show in Disneyland, California.
The 45ft stage prop was ablaze in several videos shared on social media. Members of the audience heard the announcement over the public address system, that the show would not be continuing due to “unforeseen circumstance”.
The theme park in Anaheim was evacuated.
According to the fire service, there were no reported injuries.
The fire broke during a Fantasmic performance, which promised “improved special effects, cutting-edge projections, and superb pyrotechnics”.

On social media, someone joked: “Seems like Maleficent’s evil plan has backfired.”
Disneyland has been contacted to provide a comment.
