In Madrid, two people died and ten others were injured after a fire broke out in a restaurant. It is believed that a server sparked the fire by burning a plate.
On Friday, a fire broke out at the Burro Canaglia Bar and Resto in the Salamanca district ( Spanish capital) of the Spanish capital.
Eyewitnesses claim that the fire was started by a waiter who performed a flambe, a cooking method where alcohol is poured over food before it’s set on fire.
Eyewitnesses told El Pais that the flames spread from the dish to the ceiling and walls.
The fire broke out near the entrance of the restaurant and blocked the main exit route for diners.
The Spanish police is investigating the cause of fire.
