It is believed that a British rugby player, who disappeared in Barcelona last summer, drowned.
Levi Davis, who also competed on Celebrity X Factor – , was last spotted at The Old Irish Pub in October.
According to his family, an investigation by the police suggests that his phone was last detected at the farthest end of the commercial port in the Spanish city.
The staff of a cruise ship tried to rescue a man from the water that night.
The 25-year old’s family released a statement in which they said that four staff members confirmed that a man was seen in the water, with details such as him asking for assistance in English and his clothing colour.
The life jacket was thrown overboard and the emergency air and sea rescue services searched for him but were unsuccessful.
On Monday, his mother Julie and Richard Squire met with police to get an update on their investigation.
The investigation into what happened is ongoing., his family and close friends have requested privacy.

A private investigator is helping the family – , and a reward of PS10,000 has been offered for any information that leads to his discovery.
