According to his brother, the former Italian premier Silvio Bernlusconi was moved from intensive care after treatment for a pulmonary infection.
Berlusconi was hospitalized for treatment . He is now in a regular ward of a Milan hospital.
His brother Paolo said to the Corriere della Sera that everything was fine.
The hospital refused to comment on the reports, but announced that a medical alert would be issued today on the condition of the 86 year old.
Doctors, including his longtime personal physician, recently revealed to the former three-time Premier that he has chronic leukaemia.
In 2020, he was in critical condition at the same hospital for COVID-19 treatment.
He said that the disease was “insidious”, and the most dangerous thing he has ever experienced.
Matteo Salvini, who founded the Anti-Migrant League and his Forza Italia Party about 30 years ago, are junior partners with Giorgia Melons far-right Prime Minister Giorgia. But Mr Berlusconi holds no government role.
In 2011, he resigned as Italy’s prime minister as it was on the verge of a debt crisis similar to that in Greece. He also faced numerous scandals – most notably, his infamous “bunga bunga”, parties.
