The clip shows a man wearing green fatigues and the yellow armband that is commonly worn by Ukrainian soldiers. A man is heard shouting before he is decapitated by another man.
Sky News was unable to verify the authenticity and video appears to have been captured by an apparent Russian soldier.

Dmitro Kuleba, the Ukrainian foreign minister, posted on Twitter: “A horrifying video showing Russian troops executing a Ukrainian prisoner is circulating online.
He said that Russia, which is worse then ISIS, was presiding over UNSC. This refers to the UN Security Council, where Russia assumed the rotating presidency.
He said: “Russian terrorists should be expelled from Ukraine and the UN, and held responsible for their crimes.”
The foreign ministry of Ukraine called upon the International Criminal Court “to immediately investigate another atrocity committed by the Russian military.”
The UN said it was “appalled” at the footage.
“Regrettably, this is not an isolated event,” said the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission to Ukraine in a statement.
It stated that it had recently discovered “a number of grave violations of international humanitarian laws”, including those against prisoners of war.
It stated that “These violations need to also be properly investigated, and the perpetrators should be held responsible.”
Dmytro Lubinets, Ukraine’s Ombudsman, stated today that he would call upon the UN Human Rights Committee for an investigation into the video that appears to show the execution of a Ukrainian prisoner-of-war.
