After a Limerick woman’s death, a murder investigation has been launched in Ireland.
Dock Road officers were summoned at 1.30pm Tuesday to assist the victim, who was in her 20s.
Limerick police are still on the scene and encourage anyone with any information to come forward.
The Garda is particularly interested in video footage from Dock Road and O’Curry Street, Limerick City, between 1pm and 2pm Tuesdays.
The results of the Wednesday’s post-mortem examination are not being released. The family was informed.
According to The Irish Times, police are looking for a man seen in a shop with his hand bandaged.
According to reports, the man entered wearing a temporary bandage before washing his hands and then leaving.
