After his New York arraignment on charges of making hush money payments for a pornstar before 2016, Donald Trump will speak in Florida Tuesday night.
According to his campaign, he would make remarks at Mar-a-Lago after returning from Manhattan. He is expected to surrender himself.
As the first ex-US president to be charged with criminal offenses, the 76-year old politician will be taken to Manhattan Courthouse to be fingerprinted and photographed.

Trump, a candidate for the 2024 presidential election, faces multiple charges of falsifying business records. The indictment was handed down last week by a Manhattan grand jury, which included at least one felony offense, according to the Associated Press.
After a grand jury voted to convict him, he was indicted over possible offenses related to $130,000 (PS105,000), payment to Stormy Daniels during 2016’s presidential election campaign.
The deal was said to have been made in return for Daniels’ silence regarding an alleged sexual encounter she claimed she had with Trump a decade prior.
The indictment has been sealed. This is a New York tradition before an arraignment.
In televised interviews on Sunday, Joe Tacopina, Trump’s lawyer, stated that he would review the indictment once he receives it and then plan the next steps.
He stated that it was too early to discuss whether he would request a venue change or file an motion to dismiss. However, it is not uncommon for defense lawyers to do both.
He said that it was too early to decide what motions to file or not. “It is important to see the indictment, and then get to work.”
Trump will fly to New York Monday night and then stay overnight at Trump Tower in Manhattan, ahead of his scheduled arraignment Tuesday.
He is expected to report at the courthouse by Tuesday morning. There he will be fingerprinted, and a mugshot taken.
He won’t be held hostage if he surrenders, because of a deal between Trump’s legal team & Manhattan prosecutors, Mr Tacopina stated.

The former president will be arrested and questioned by investigators to determine if there are any outstanding criminal charges.
After the booking has been completed, Trump will appear in front of Justice Juan Merchan at the Manhattan criminal court for an afternoon arraignment.
Judge Merchan presided over the criminal trial in the same courtroom where Trump’s realty company was convicted for tax fraud last year. However, the former president was not charged.
Trump lashed out Friday at Judge Merchan, claiming he hates Merchan and treats the Trump Organisation “viciously”.
On Sunday, however, Mr Tacopina brushed aside questions about whether Trump’s team would like to have a new judge appointed.
“I have no issues with this judge at all.” “He has a very positive reputation,” Mr Tacopina stated.
