Olympic sprint legend takes on other mums at school sports day

Shelly-Ann Fraser – Pryce is used a taking on the fastest women in the world in the largest stadiums. But her latest race was a little more low-key.

At her son’s Jamaica sports day, the multiple Olympic and world champion gold medallist posed against other mothers.

The race video shows her leaving the field in the end as she speeds down the rough grass track.

Fraser-Pryce seemed to have plenty of reserves despite the large gap.

With a time of 10.6 seconds, the 36-year old is third fastest woman ever. She is also considered the greatest female sprinter.

She holds two golds in 100m at the Olympics and five world titles in the same event.

Because of her height, she is often called the pocket rocket. In 2022, she was the oldest ever winner of a world championship. She was again victorious in Eugene.
