According to court documents, Andrew Tate, a controversial influencer, was released from Romanian jail and placed under house arrest for thirty days.
Tristan, a former professional kickboxer of 36 years, and the ex-professional kickboxer are under investigation for sexual assault and exploitation.
Bucharest’s appeals court rejected the request to extend the pre-arrest measure.
“[The court] replaces preventive detention against defendants..with the preventive measure house arrest for a period not exceeding 30 days.
It concluded that the document “orders the immediate release” of the defendants.
Mateea Petrescu (communications director for Andrew Tate) told Sky News that they were not considered a flight risk or a threat to public safety and therefore have been placed under house arrest.

They are being held on suspicion of human trafficking and organised crime.
They were taken into custody by the police on 29 December 2013. Neither of them have been charged with any crime. Four times, they have been denied requests to be released since December.
Two Romanian women, who were also detained with the brothers, have not been charged.
Romania’s anti-organised criminal agency DIICOT stated in a statement that six victims of human trafficking were identified by it. They had allegedly been sex exploited and subjected “acts of violence and mental coercion” by the alleged crime group.
According to the agency, victims were lured by pretences of love. They were then placed under surveillance and forced into pornographic acts in return for financial gain.
Romanian authorities claimed they had seize goods and money in excess of PS3.25 million from the villa of the controversial influencer, which included luxury cars.
Tate has been banned from Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube due to violating the rules regarding “dangerous persons” and hate speech. In 2017, Tate was removed from Twitter. He was allowed to return in November 2022.
