He won’t win over the moderate Republicans and swing voters that voted against him in 2020 and during the recent midterm elections.
This case is not as serious as the ones involving the January 6 insurrection and the handling of classified information. It also doesn’t include alleged attempts to reverse the 2020 election results in Georgia.

It is the mood music playing in parallel to the New York case. They might also hope for the other cases. Donald Trump will likely use that evidence to support his claim of a conspiracy to attack him politically if he can get it out of his system – which a lot of legal experts think it will be.
It’s the politics of justice, and everyone seems to have a say. Justice has started to speak for itself by bringing criminal charges.
America continues to live through the events of history. Serios media outlets publish articles about the practicalities and running a country by a felon, while chin-stroking about how a conviction might impact the operational capabilities of the leader of free world.
He is as unrivalled as any president.
