Strange noises, Taylor Swift and good tips: Notable moments in Paltrow’s lawsuit testimony

Gwyneth Paltrow, Oscar-winning actress, is being sued by a retired optometrist. He claims she collided with him on a slope and left him with several injuries.

Paltrow claims that Terry Sanderson crashed into her, but she denies it. She shared her story with a Park City courtroom on Friday.

Are You Counter-suing for $1 Because of a Taylor Swift Case?

Paltrow was asked whether she was counter-suing $1 for Taylor Swift’s “symbolic” lawsuit.

Paltrow answered a question about Swift’s case and said that she was not familiar with the matter, but now is.

She said, “It’s an exact dollar that I’m asking you for – it is symbolic because the damages would be greater.”

Swift was asked if Swift and she were friends. Swift replied, “I wouldn’t say we’re friends. We are friends, but we don’t talk often.”

Reproducing events in the courtroom

Kristin Van Orman (a lawyer for Terry Sanderson) asked Paltrow if she could leave the witness stand and show what occurred at the time the collision took place.

The lawyer representing the actress objected to this objection was accepted by the judge.

Instead, Ms. Van Orman tried to recreate the events in her courtroom with Paltrow as her director.

Paltrow was asked about how much she spent on skiing lessons for her children Apple, Moses, and her husband’s children who were also going on the trip.

According to Mr Sanderson, the total bill was $8,980.

Paltrow responded, “It is very expensive.”

The lawyer for Mr Sanderson asked the actress if they were good tippers, and she said yes.

Paltrow spoke out about how she yelled at Sanderson following the ski collision. She said that she was “very upset” and that it was still strange to her what had happened.

Paltrow said that Sanderson “mumbled” an explanation to her after she shouted at him, “You skied into me f***ing back!” “.

She said to the court, “I apologise” for her language.
