Martina Navratilova, a woman who was diagnosed with breast and throat cancers, has declared that she is now “cancer-free”.
After being diagnosed with cancer, the former world number one tennis player will be undergoing further preventative radiation treatment.
Piers Morgan, 66 years old, said to the 66-year-old in a Talk TV interview that will air on Tuesday: “As far they know I am cancer free.”
She was quoted by The Sun in her reaction to the diagnosis . This was revealed in January.
“My bucket list was born out of my desire to do all the things that I had always wanted.”

After noticing an enlarged lymph node, Ms. Navratilova, who was awarded 59 grand slam singles, doubles titles, visited the doctor.
It was later confirmed by tests.
She said, “This was the first week of December, [I’m imagining] that I will see this Christmas but not the next,”
Doctors were able to inform her that the cancer could be treated and that she had a 95% chance of full recovery.
In 2010, Ms. Navratilova was treated for early-stage breast carcinoma.
Navratilova revealed that she also received help from nurses who played Sir Elton John songs while she was undergoing chemotherapy.
She said, “You can choose the music you like to listen to.”
“One time I chose Elton John and then he starts singing I’m Still Standing. This was a song he dedicated to my at a Paris concert during the French Open in 1980.”
