Indian film song beats entries from Rihanna and Lady Gaga to win historic Oscar

Naatu Naatu, a Telugu-language blockbuster RRR, has become a historical recording. He won the Oscar for best original song.

The song’s catchy chorus and lively choreography prompted TikTok users to take on the challenge of mastering the acrobatic moves.

Chandrabose and MM Keeravani beat pop heavyweights Rihanna, Lady Gaga to the song.

It already has great success at the 2023 awards season. The song won best song accolades at the Critics Choice Awards and Golden Globes.

Keeravani, 61, said that he grew up listening and now he is with the Oscars.

He continued to sing the pop song Top Of The World to his own lyrics. “There was only one thing on my mind… RRR must win, pride for every Indian and must place me on top.
