Sixth arrest after model’s body parts found in fridge and cooking pot

In connection with the murder in Hong Kong of a model, a sixth person was arrested. Her dismembered legs were found in a refrigerator.

Abby Choi, a model and influencer, shared her glamorous lifestyle of photoshoots with more than 100,000 Instagram followers.

According to reports, the 28-year old was last seen on 21 February. Police found her legs in a fridge days after she disappeared.

The skull of a young woman, believed to be Ms Choi, was found along with several ribs in a pot. It was taken from the same property where her legs were discovered.

Officials believe that the fatal attack occurred in a hole at the back of her skull.

According to local media reports, a 41-year old man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of aiding or abetting an inmate.

He is accused of helping Alex Kwong, Ms Choi’s ex-husband, escape Hong Kong by sea.

Kwong (28), his father Kwong Kau, and brother Anthony Kwong were both charged with murder Monday. Alex Kwong’s mother Jenny Li is facing one count of perverting justice.

Police released a fifth suspect in hiding one of the suspects on bail.

Officers also visited the house in Lung Mei Tsuen, where Ms Choi’s remains were reported to have been found. The scene is still under police control.

Ms. Choi’s most recent social media post was over a week old and featured a photoshoot that she did with L’Officiel Monaco (a fashion magazine).

According to police, she was involved in a financial dispute worth tens of million of Hong Kong dollars with her husband and his family. “Some people” were unhappy with the way she managed her finances.
