After her legs were discovered in a refrigerator days after her disappearance, the former in-laws of a Hong Kong fashion model were arrested for murder.
When police entered a house to search for Abby Choi, they also found human tissue in soup pots.
Superintendent Alan Chung stated that police have discovered that the flat was meticulously arranged by cold-blooded murderers.
“The flat contained tools that can be used to dismember human body parts, such as meat grinders and chainsaws. It also included long raincoats, gloves, masks, and other equipment.”
Police were unable to locate the head, torso and hands of Ms Choi.
According to reports, the 28-year-old model was last seen Tuesday. She appeared on the cover of L’Officiel Monaco’s latest issue.
Her Instagram followers exceeded 80,000 and she was often seen mixing with celebrities.
According to local media reports, the property where her legs were discovered is located in Lung Mei Village, Tai Po.
According to Supt. Chung, her ex-husband’s father may have started renting it a few days ago.
He added that officers found Ms Choi’s credit cards, identity card and other items in her house.
