According to Japan’s coast guard, the missiles were fired on Monday morning local time. They fell into the ocean outside Japan’s exclusive Economic Zone.

Japan’s defense ministry stated that the missile launches “threaten peace and security in Japan, the region and the international community”.
North Korea’s state media KCNA confirmed that it had fired two projectiles at targets 245 and 209 miles distant.
It stated that the multi-launcher used in firing…is a tactical nuclear weapon capable of “paralysing an enemy airfield.”
