A Romanian court ruled that Andrew Tate, a social media influencer, will remain in detention for 30 days.

He was detained in Romania with his brother Tristan, on suspicion of human trafficking and rape, according to prosecutors.

This controversial internet personality was involved in a Twitter spat this week with Great Thunberg, with the climate activist taunting his arrest.

His arrest was based on the suspicion of human trafficking, sexual assault and formation an organised crime group. Prosecutors have confirmed.
