Rishabh Pan, Indian cricket’s star, is now facing a long injury spell. This happened after a horrible car accident that left him having to punch his way out of the car when it burst into flames.

Uttarakhand police said that the cricketer-batsman claimed that he “dozed off”, while driving the car. It was believed to have been a Mercedes.

It was believed that the car flipped twice when it struck the central reservation.

Pant was able to escape despite multiple injuries.

The Indian cricket board (BCCI), stated in a statement that the 25 year-old had sustained cuts to his forehead, tore a ligament in right knee, and suffered injuries to his right wrist, ankle, and toe.
