After his historic win over France on Sunday, the Argentinian star couldn’t have won the golden trophy.
His next post on social media received more than 61,000,000 likes. This surpasses the record for the previous record holder, the famous egg picture with 56.6 million likes.
Now, the World Record Egg Instagram account is full of jokes and celebrations for another Messi win.
One user wrote “Messi is making an egg omelette” while another commented: “King exceeded it.”
The football legend Messi is smiling as he holds the trophy high above his head, celebrating his win.
The caption said: “CHAMPIONS WORLD !!!!!!!” It was something I had wished for so many times that I couldn’t believe my eyes.
