A Twitter account that tracked Elon Musk’s private jet was suspended.
The bot, @ElonJet was created by a student at Florida University to track the location of , the SpaceX and Tesla founder‘s aircraft.
Musk asked that the platform be taken down earlier this year.
The account was described as “a security threat” by the teenager. He even offered money in return, but he joked that the payment would not replace his satisfaction from managing it.
Musk finally got his way on Wednesday after more than 10 years.
The account has been removed from Twitter.

Jack Sweeney claimed that his account was being “shadowbanned” days before it was suspended. This meant that its reach was being severely limited.
It shared details about Musk’s movements, including distance traveled, CO2 emissions and the amount of jet fuel used, just like other Sweeney accounts.
He also managed bot accounts to track the jets of Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos. However, he insists that they don’t keep track of who is actually aboard.
