Pantone has revealed Viva Magenta as the “colour of 2023” for their “colour of year”.
According to the design company, the colour “promotes joyous and hopeful celebrations, writing a new story.”
Pantone describes Viva Magenta as a shade that is “rooted in nature, descending from red family and expressive a new signal for strength”.
Since its introduction in 2000, Pantone’s Colour of the Year has been a key part of brand marketing and design.

Princess Of Wales
Kate looked stunning in her formal gown at Horse Guards Parade, London. She wore the brave colour last month.
Whoopi goldberg
The colour was displayed by the Hollywood actress on the red carpet of the 25th Annual ACE Awards in November. Goldberg wore a long, belted gown with Juliet sleeves.
Paula Abdul
Paula Abdul, an American singer, rocked the colour at Global Green’s pre-Oscar party. She was seen in a printed blouse and a mermaid skirt, which captures the magnetic magenta.
Cardi B
Cardi B, a US rapper, was seen on the pink carpet wearing an off-the shoulder dress. It was elegantly paired perfectly with matching heels.
Post Malone
Post Malone, an American rapper, performed in Times Square in 2019 wearing a two-piece jacket with trousers. To add contrast to the deep colours, it also featured black spots.
Gabrielle Union
