According to South Korean officials, O Yeong-su, an actor in Squid Game has been accused of sexual misconduct.
According to prosecutors, the 78-year old is charged with inappropriately touching a woman in 2017.
The first complaint was filed by the woman in December 2021, but the case was dismissed in April without any charges being filed.
According to Yonhap news agency, “At the request from the victim”, the case is being reopened.
Local media reports that Mr O has denied the allegation.
Yonhap stated that he has been charged, but not detained.
Seoul’s cultural ministry suspended broadcasts of a government advertisement he featured in following the accusation.
