After a Russian missile strike, a seven-year-old boy from Ukraine was left with severe burns and shrapnel on his head.
Emine Dzheppar, Ukraine’s foreign minister, shared a photo of Roman on Wednesday. He was hurt in the attack by Russian rockets on Vinnytsia’s central city.
Ms. Dzheppar stated that the child had suffered severe burns on almost half his body, which is 45%.

Cruise missiles struck an office block last Thursday and caused damage to nearby homes. The fire spread to a parking lot and set cars ablaze.
Vinnytsia was hit by a Russian submarine. These were the most recent incidents in Ukraine to claim civilian lives.
The attack resulted in at least 24 deaths, including two children aged seven and eight years old, and more than 200 injuries.
The four year-old girl Liza Dmytrieva was among those killed.
Liza, a Down’s Syndrome sufferer, was also in the fun as her mother drove to see a speech therapist.
The explosion killed Liza and put Iryna, her mother, in a “grave situation” in an ICU.
Images of Liza’s dead body lying on the ground beside her blood-stained pram were posted by Ukraine’s emergency service and went viral.

Ms Dzheppar said that Roman’s father discovered that his wife had died three days earlier after DNA tests.
The scene was captured on video and showed thick black smoke rising from a building as emergency personnel tackled the fire.
Russia repeatedly denied intentionally targeting civilians throughout the conflict in Ukraine.
