Biden 'not walking anything back' but denies calling for regime change in Russia

Although President Joe Biden strongly denied any suggestion he called for regime change within Vladimir Putin’s Russia and said that he was “not walking back”,

When asked about his statement that Putin “cannot stay in power” at the weekend, the US leader repeatedly stated that he wasn’t calling for his removal.

He said, “I was expressing my moral outrage toward this man.” “I was not articulating any policy change.”

During President Biden’s speech at Warsaw, Mr Putin made a tense comment that rattled some Western European allies. The Kremlin branded the remarks “alarming” .

As he answered questions from reporters Monday, Mr Biden justified his remark.
