Nazanin Zaghari Rahcliffe and Anoosheh Azoori arrived in the UK shortly after 1am.
Mrs Zaghari Rahimi has been held in Iran for six-years and is accused of plotting against the government. She will be reunited with her husband, seven-year-old daughter and father.
Anoosheh Ashoori was also on board, who had been in Iran since 2017 for spying charges.
They walked together down the steps of the plane about 15 minutes after landing. Both gave a quick wave before they set foot on British soil.
Before he took off, Mr Ashoori was seen taking a selfie in the cockpit with pilots.

Anoosheh Ashoori’s family speaks of their’surreal’ feelings as he leaves Iran
Speaking at the Oxfordshire RAF Base, Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said that she was not certain the pair would be released until the very last moment.
She tweeted, “Delighted that Nazanin & Anoosheh landed safely in UK and are reunited avec their families and loved one.” “Welcome home!”
The long-running struggle to liberate the Britons paid off yesterday when Ms Truss announced that they were headed home.
After Britain paid a sum of PS393.8m to settle a bill related to a tank order that was placed by Iran in late 1970s, the breakthrough occurred.
Mrs Zaghari Ratcliffe denied Iran’s claims and Richard, her husband, fought a high profile campaign to free her. This included a hunger strike.
The hopes of the 43-year old being released soon were crushed on multiple occasions, putting a strain on her mental and physical health.
Morad Tahbaz (a British-Iranian) was also released on furlough. The foreign secretary stated that the government would continue to pursue his “long overdue permanent release.”
